The Creative Institute Vorarlberg is opening its spaces with a big bang.
Transformation needs spaces that aren't overly finished — places that leave room to actually think, build, and make. From October 1st to 4th, CampusVäre in Dornbirn officially opens its doors as Western Austria’s largest hub for creative industries, innovation, art, and culture with FEZ 26 — the Festival for Opening the Future.
Located on the grounds of a historic former spinning factory, CampusVäre serves as an innovation engine for the regional creative economy. By repurposing industrial heritage into flexible work, exhibition, and workshop halls, it provides a long-term platform for cross-industry collaboration and circular design.
Across four days, Halls 4 and 5 turn into a living laboratory for fresh perspectives. The program spans from sharp design talks to interactive sessions on organizational change, unpaved asphalt workshops, open ateliers, and contemporary art exhibitions.
The highlight for open exchange takes place on Friday, October 2nd: a shared gathering at the longest culinary table in Western Austria — connecting food, drink, and conversation across East and West in a completely unpretentious, focused setting.
